The Investigation Police Agency of Binh Giang District Police (Hai Duong) has just decided to prosecute the defendant Nguyen Huu Thanh (born in 1995, residing in Nhan Kiet village, Hung Thang commune, Binh Giang) for the crime of property theft.
Receiving information from the people, the Investigation Police Agency of Binh Giang District Police quickly collected and screened the subjects, quickly identified the perpetrator of the above theft and arrested the subject.
At the police station, Thanh confessed that because he needed money to spend and pay off debts, at around 8:00 a.m. on December 15, he wandered around the village looking for someone whose property was open to theft. When he arrived at Mr. NHĐ's house and saw that no one was inside, Thanh sneaked into the wardrobe in his family's bedroom and stole a total of 76.2 million VND. After successfully carrying out the theft, Thanh hid in a rented room in Cam Phuc commune (Cam Giang), used the stolen money to buy a cell phone, a watch, a gold necklace, and pay for the room, leaving only 7.7 million VND.
Thanh has a previous conviction for theft of property.
