Close-up of construction of 2 packages on Highway 5

Two major packages on National Highway 5, including XL-06 to repair the road surface from km65-km76 through Kim Thanh district (Hai Duong), and XL-07B to build protective works and a system of signs and directional signs, are being urgently constructed by contractors.

703 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company is the contractor for the National Highway 5 road surface repair package, section km 65-km76, through Kim Thanh district. The contractor started construction in early October and has so far repaired about 1 km of the total 11 km of the package (9% of the total volume).

60 officers, engineers, workers and dozens of machines were mobilized and organized into 2 construction teams to repair the road surface. The construction unit strives to complete about 4 km of National Highway 5 (both directions) by Tet. According to the signed schedule, construction will take place from now until August 2024.

With the support of machinery, on average, workers can spread 400-600 tons of asphalt concrete per day.
