Officers and soldiers of Military Region 3 help people in time during storms and floods

On the afternoon of January 16, a working delegation of the Military Region 3 Command led by Major General Nguyen Duc Dung, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff, visited and extended New Year greetings to the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Duong province.

Welcoming the delegation were comrades: Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Minh Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Major General Nguyen Duc Dung, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 3, assessed that in recent times, under the close leadership and direction of the Standing Committee and Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, the local defense and military work of Hai Duong province continued to be maintained.

The Provincial Military Command continues to maintain all policies and procedures well. Many tasks assigned by the Military Region and the province have been completed well, some tasks have been completed excellently.

The role of officers and soldiers of Military Region 3 as well as forces of the Provincial Military Command is highlighted in many aspects of life.

In particular, during storm No. 3, the image of cadres and soldiers rushing to the forefront of the waves and winds multiplied the good image of Uncle Ho's soldiers, affirming that they are the solid support of Party committees, authorities and people.

Major General Nguyen Duc Dung, on behalf of the leaders of Military Region 3, extended New Year greetings to the entire Party Committee, government and people of Hai Duong. At the same time, he hoped that under the leadership and close direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Party Secretary himself, Hai Duong province would achieve many new successes in 2025.

The Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee affirmed the close and effective cooperation between Military Region 3 and the province over the past time.

During storm No. 3, thousands of officers and soldiers of Military Region 3 stood side by side with Party committees, authorities and people, present at all storm and flood hotspots to promptly rescue people, transport property and bring people to safety.

The image of the soldier straining himself during that historic storm has been deeply imprinted in the minds of every Hai Duong resident, providing a solid spiritual support for the people to work with peace of mind. After the storm, the military region continued to send officers and soldiers to urgently help Hai Duong overcome the consequences and promptly restore production.

The contributions of Military Region 3 contribute to the overall success in all socio-economic aspects of Hai Duong province in 2024.

Informing that in 2025, Hai Duong province will continue to strive to complete the set goals, the Provincial Party Secretary requested Military Region 3 to continue to pay attention and coordinate so that the province can excellently complete local defense and military tasks, develop the economy quickly and sustainably, creating a basis for Hai Duong to continue to have conditions to care for policy families, meritorious people and do a good job of military rear work.
