Cam Giang urges to handle the situation of littering on canals

Workers of the Cam Giang District Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise coordinated with localities to collect floating garbage on the main canal of Van Thai pumping station.

The communes of Dinh Son, Cam Hoang, Cam Vu, Cam Van, Thach Loi and Cam Giang town have plans and measures to strengthen the management of domestic solid waste. Focus on eliminating spontaneous waste collection points in public areas, especially along roads, canals, etc.; collect waste on T5 canal, the main canal of Van Thai pumping station. Strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to join hands in protecting the environment, participate in detecting and promptly handling illegal dumping and burning of waste. The communes require organizations and individuals living along the canal banks to sign a commitment not to throw waste into canals. Specialized forces regularly inspect the collection, transportation and treatment of domestic waste to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations.

Cam Giang District Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise has coordinated with localities to increase the collection of floating garbage on canals, especially at sluice gates and suction pits.
