Thanh Hong Commune has buried garbage according to regulations.

On the morning of April 11, the People's Committee of Thanh Hong Commune (Thanh Ha) completed cleaning up and burying all the garbage at the commune's landfill after the indiscriminate burning of garbage caused environmental pollution.

Previously, on April 9, Hai Duong electronic newspaper published readers' comments."Garbage burning smoke affects people in Thanh Hong commune"reflecting the situation of burning garbage at the concentrated landfill of this commune affecting the lives and activities of the people. Thanh Hong Commune People's Committee held an urgent meeting, mobilized forces to pump water to put out the fire, hired excavators to collect garbage and buried it in accordance with regulations on solid waste treatment on April 10 and the morning of April 11.

Mr. Le Quy Su, Chairman of Thanh Hong Commune People's Committee, said that because the landfill is located in the planning of Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line and the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway tunnel is low, the environmental company's specialized vehicles cannot access to transport the garbage. The commune is asking for the district's direction to have a more effective and long-term solution.

Mr. Su said that the Commune People's Committee will strengthen inspection and supervision to limit the recurrence of polluting garbage burning in the future.
