Meaningful gifts have reached workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in a timely manner, demonstrating the concern of National Assembly delegates and trade unions for workers.
On the morning of January 31, National Assembly delegate, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Hung, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security, and the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province visited and presented gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 100 workers and laborers in difficult circumstances working in Cam Giang district. Each gift includes 1 million VND in cash and gifts.
Previously, on the afternoon of January 30, National Assembly delegate Nguyen Ngoc Son, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, visited and presented gifts to 50 union members and workers in difficult circumstances at Babeeni Vietnam Company Limited, Hai Duong branch (Tu Ky). Each gift included 1 million VND in cash and gifts.
At the gift-giving ceremony, the National Assembly delegates kindly visited the workers and laborers, shared their difficulties and encouraged them to overcome them and celebrate Tet happily. They hoped that the workers would continue to stay with the enterprise for a long time, improve their labor productivity and thereby increase their income. They requested that the grassroots trade unions and their direct superiors pay more attention to taking care of the lives of workers. They should closely coordinate with business owners and employers to regularly organize direct dialogues to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers, resolve difficulties and problems in production, and be a reliable support for union members. Business owners need to pay attention to creating jobs and stable incomes, and work with trade unions to maintain harmonious labor relations. In addition, businesses need to build a good and friendly working environment for workers.
