Continuing the journey of President Ho Chi Minh's aspirations

On the evening of November 2, the Central Propaganda Department coordinated with Vietnam Television to organize the program "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration 2023" to honor typical collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

They are people who, with their efforts and responsibilities, have lived, studied and worked with the common goal of being for the people, for the Fatherland, building a prosperous and happy Vietnam.

Learn from Uncle Ho to dedicate yourself to the people

Through its many years of organization, the program has honored dozens of individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

These groups and individuals are party cells, party committees, and exemplary leaders, cadres, civil servants, armed forces, doctors, teachers, businessmen, and religious dignitaries who have made outstanding contributions, innovations, and creativity, bringing about great exemplary values ​​that have spread throughout society; some individuals have met Uncle Ho, which has become a driving force for them to strive for life, to encourage learning, and to encourage talent for the community.

The common point of the typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is enthusiasm and spirit of serving the people, not afraid of difficulties and hardships, daring to contribute and sacrifice for the Fatherland, daring to fight against wrongs and evils; promoting creativity in economic development, preserving culture, bringing Vietnamese humanistic values ​​to the world.

Speaking at the program "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration 2021," National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that the program is truly a journey from the past to the present, towards the bright and beautiful future of the nation with very profound yet simple stories about Uncle Ho, about examples of learning and following Uncle Ho.

Evaluating the program, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed that the typical examples in the program come from many different industries, professions, and localities, but they all have one thing in common, which is setting an example in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, always being brave, resilient, ready to sacrifice, and "devoting oneself to the people." That further affirms the dignity and spirit of the Vietnamese people, fostering and shining the system of human values, the system of national values, and the culture and people of Vietnam.

Simple yet noble examples

As in previous years, the highlight of the program "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration 2023" will be activities honoring typical examples with profound yet simple stories about examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.

That is Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam in Ngoai Trach 2 village, Tam Hop commune, Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province, who overcame his disability complex to build a charity club.

Although he was born disabled due to the effects of Agent Orange dioxin and his health was not good, Mr. Nam always tried to overcome his fate and was determined to develop his family's economy by opening a local animal feed and fertilizer store.

With the desire to contribute more to help the less fortunate, in 2022, Mr. Nam founded and became the Chairman of the "Warming Human Love" Club, connecting philanthropists and benefactors to mobilize donations and support people in especially difficult circumstances.

The creative startup story of Mr. Nguyen The Ngoan Vinh, in Tan An hamlet, Tan Thanh commune, Lai Vung district, Dong Thap province, the creator of the model of growing red tangerine trees in greenhouses. This is a new and creative rural production model today.

Learning and following Uncle Ho's virtue of constant work and creativity, Vinh has researched and applied the knowledge he has learned to successfully implement many high-tech agricultural models. The diligence and creativity of the "9X engineer" not only brings economic efficiency to his family, but also contributes to the locality in gradually building a smart and modern agriculture.

It is also the story of Ms. Hoang Thi Nhu Thanh, Head of Dong Ba Market Management Board, Hue City, Thua Thien-Hue Province, who contributed to the "transformation" of a market that has just turned 123 years old. From a place with a "bad reputation", degraded from infrastructure to business culture, Dong Ba Market has been and is "transforming" to become a stronghold to preserve and protect Hue's cultural values ​​as expected by the city's leaders.

Ms. Thanh, together with the Party Committee and the Market Management Board, focused on building a mass mobilization model of "Civilized activities, trade and tourism-services" among market traders, aiming to closely combine studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; effectively solving breakthroughs and key, pressing issues in practice such as solicitation, overcharging, and food safety and hygiene in the market.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh was a shining example and model of being close to the people, respecting the people, serving the people all his life, wholeheartedly caring for the people's prosperous and happy life. The 13th National Congress of the Party determined to continue promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style with strong, drastic and synchronous measures; focusing on doing well 3 issues: Studying, following, setting an example; encouraging and motivating cadres and party members to think and act for the common good, for the happiness of the people.

With that meaning, all over the country, every day, every hour, there are still ordinary but noble people, following Uncle Ho to create touching and inspiring stories, gloriously continuing the journey of President Ho Chi Minh's aspirations. And organizing to honor those "noble" people is a practical work so that "each good person, each good deed is a beautiful flower, our whole nation is a beautiful flower forest."

On the morning of November 2, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong had a friendly meeting with a delegation of exemplary representatives nationwide in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle in 2023.

The General Secretary believes that the collectives and individuals honored this year will continue to strive, learn and practice regularly; preserve and promote the noble titles honored, spread their effects and influence and set an example in society.

With today's commendation and reward, the patriotic emulation movement will develop more and more deeply; there will be more and more typical examples from collectives to individuals nationwide in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; creating a strong driving force for our entire Party, people and army in the cause of innovation, construction and protection of the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland; developing our country to become increasingly prosperous, rich, civilized and happy, as beloved Uncle Ho always expected, contributing to making his ideology, morality and style forever eternal with the cultured and heroic Vietnamese nation.
