Supplementing and adjusting ethical standards according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has just issued instructions on reviewing, supplementing, and adjusting ethical standards according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style in the new situation.

The review, supplementation and adjustment of ethical standards according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the new situation aims to be consistent with the fine cultural traditions of the nation and the new regulations of the Party; continue to raise awareness of self-cultivation, lifelong revolutionary ethics training and uphold the honor and self-respect of cadres and party members; concretize ethical standards appropriate to each group of cadres and party members according to profession, field, position, age, gender with aspirations for development, innovation and creativity in the spirit of the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels and the 13th National Party Congress. The development of standards needs to be concise, easy to understand, easy to remember, easy to implement, easy to check and evaluate. The review, supplementation and adjustment of ethical standards needs to be implemented seriously, systematically and thoughtfully, avoiding being done carelessly and roughly; attach importance to effectiveness, practicality and promote the self-awareness of implementation by cadres and party members.

Accordingly, the review, supplementation and adjustment of ethical standards according to 6 contents are with the Party, Fatherland; people; work; colleagues; oneself; hostile forces.

For grassroots party organizations, implementation is carried out in 3 steps, including organizing a Party Committee conference to discuss, review, supplement and adjust ethical standards; organizing an expanded Party Committee conference to collect opinions on the draft of revised and supplemented ethical standards; organizing the dissemination, deployment and implementation of revised and supplemented ethical standards.

For the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, sectors, and specific units, based on the ethical standards developed by the higher-level vertical sectors and the guidance of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, they shall review, supplement, and adjust them to match the characteristics and tasks of their sectors, agencies, and units. During the implementation process, it is necessary to organize extensive propaganda, mobilize cadres, party members, union members, association members, and all people to respond, implement, monitor, and evaluate. Periodically at the end of the year, there will be a review and evaluation of the implementation of ethical standards. The review, supplementation, and adjustment of ethical standards according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style will be implemented in the fourth quarter of 2021.
