Storm Toraji is on the sea east of Luzon Island (Philippines) and heading towards the East Sea, likely to become storm number 8 in the next 2 days.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, currently, a storm with the international name Toraji is active in the sea east of Luzon Island (Philippines).
At 7:00 a.m. this morning, November 10, the center of storm Toraji was at about 15.1 degrees north latitude, 126.9 degrees east longitude, in the sea northeast of Lu Dong island. The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 10 (89-102 km/h), gusting to level 12. Moving west-northwest at a speed of 15-20 km/h.
It is forecasted that on November 12, storm Toraji will move into the East Sea with strong winds of level 9, gusting to level 11. Thus, right after storm number 7 weakens and dissipates, the East Sea will welcome storm number 8.
From the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm will move west-northwest and then possibly change direction to west-southwest, traveling 10-15km per hour, and its intensity will continue to weaken.
