What did the doctor who murdered and dismembered his "lover" say?

Regarding the case of a doctor in Dong Nai who murdered and dismembered a woman, on the evening of April 27, the suspect gave an initial statement about the cause of the victim's murder and the process of disposing of the body.

Accordingly, for about a year now, Dr. Danh Son (36 years old, residing in Vinh Cuu district) and Ms. N. (37 years old, residing in Bien Hoa city) have been in a relationship. However, both of them already have their own families.

Fearing that both families would find out, on April 13, Ms. N. went to Dong Nai General Hospital to talk to Son. At that time, Ms. N. said she was tired and asked Son to give her an IV.

During the IV, Son injected sedatives in excess of the permitted dosage into the IV many times, causing Ms. N. to die. Son then used a scalpel to dismember the victim and dumped her body in many places to hide the evidence.

On April 16, Ms. N.’s family reported that the victim was missing after taking her child to school. Immediately after that, the Criminal Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police coordinated with Bien Hoa City Police and other professional units to investigate.

Through verifying Ms. N.’s relationships and activities, the investigation agency discovered that the victim’s disappearance showed unusual signs. In particular, Ms. N. transferred money and contacted Son many times. Notably, on the day Ms. N. went missing, she contacted Son by phone.

Based on the above signs, the investigation agency invited Son to work many times. However, Son still refused to confess.

On April 26, the police continued to invite Son to interrogate. Using professional measures and collected evidence, Son admitted to murdering his lover.

Searching Son's residence and workplace, the authorities seized an object resembling a revolver, five gold-colored metal bars shaped like bullets, and two gold rings.
