Northern region has scattered rain, Hai Duong turns cold

Today, December 6, the Northeast region is turning cold.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydrometeorology on December 7, the weather in the Northern and North Central regions will turn cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the Northern and North Central regions will generally be from 15-18 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas 12-14 degrees Celsius, and in high mountainous areas, some places will be below 10 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi area, on December 6, there will be scattered rain, the weather will turn cold; from December 7, the weather will turn cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 15-18 degrees Celsius.

There is no rain in Hai Duong area. The cold air mass that has been reported is still moving south. It is forecasted that tonight the cold air mass will affect Hai Duong area.

Due to the influence of cold air, tonight and tomorrow morning December 7, Hai Duong will have rain, scattered light rain, then rain in some places, the weather will turn cold. The lowest temperature is commonly 16 - 18 degrees Celsius.

At sea, in the northern Gulf of Tonkin, the wind will change direction from East to Northeast, strong at level 4-5; from December 7, in the Gulf of Tonkin, the Northeast wind will gradually increase to level 6, gusting at level 7-8, rough seas; waves will be 1.5-3 m high. From the afternoon of December 7, in the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai, there will be strong Northeast wind at level 6, gusting at level 7-8, rough seas; waves will be 2-4 m high.

Due to the influence of cold air, from December 6 to the night of December 7, there will be scattered rain and showers in the North. From December 7, there will be rain and showers in the North and Central Central regions, with some places having heavy rain and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
