In 6 months, tax revenue from e-commerce activities of Hai Duong is 4.9 times higher than the previous year.

Of which, revenue from digital services and products is 2 billion VND, revenue from e-commerce is 13.3 billion VND. In June 2024 alone, tax revenue from e-commerce activities reached nearly 2 billion VND.

Since the beginning of the year, Hai Duong tax authorities have put 166 individuals under tax management, of which 154 cases have to pay tax at a fixed rate of 245 million VND/month.

In 2022, Hai Duong province collected VND5,848 billion in taxes from 144 individuals doing e-commerce business, including 14 individuals doing business in digital services and products and 130 individuals selling goods through e-commerce platforms. In the whole year of 2023, the whole province only collected additional taxes from 50 individuals selling goods on e-commerce platforms with over VND2.7 billion in taxes.

Hai Duong City Tax Department achieved the highest tax collection results from e-commerce activities with 7.6 billion VND collected from 141 individuals, equal to 11% of total revenue from business households in Hai Duong City and accounting for nearly 49.7% of total tax collection from e-commerce activities in the province.

New revenue generated from the beginning of the year to date is 88 individuals. Of which, 2 cases provide services, digital products (marketing links, advertising, software, copyright...), 46 individuals sell online. The unit has reviewed and increased lump-sum tax for 43 online business households, increasing the average tax by 2.2 million VND/household/month.
