3 Vietnamese dishes listed in "100 best breakfasts in the world"

Beef stew, Hue beef noodle soup, and grilled pork broken rice are three Vietnamese dishes that made it into the list of "Top 100 best breakfasts in the world" voted by international culinary magazine Taste Atlas.

Taste Atlas compiled the list based on diner reviews, as well as expert opinions, with more than 26,000 ratings as of May 15.

Ranked 23rd, beef stew is considered a breakfast dish chosen by many Vietnamese people to eat with noodles or bread with herbs. The dish is made from popular local ingredients such as beef, diced carrots, simmered in a slightly spicy broth.

Coming in at number 50 on the list is Bun Bo Hue. According to the introduction, authentic Bun Bo Hue will include broth made from pork and beef bone broth, noodles, beef, and crab cakes.

Broken rice with pork chop is ranked 70th and is a popular breakfast dish in the southern provinces.

This dish usually consists of grilled pork marinated in lemongrass and fish sauce, served with broken rice. In addition, broken rice with ribs is often served with stir-fried green onions, pickles and a portion of fish sauce for dipping.
