2 Hai Duong players won tickets to the semi-finals of the National Table Tennis Tournament for Excellent Players

With an absolute victory over their opponents, two Hai Duong players Nguyen Duc Tuan and Doan Ba Tuan Anh won tickets to the semi-finals of the 2024 National Excellent Table Tennis Players Tournament.

On the morning of December 6, the National Table Tennis Tournament for Excellent Players for the Sful 2024 Early Fire Warning System Cup took place with the quarter-final matches of men's and women's singles at the Hai Duong Provincial Sports Gymnasium.

Notable are the men's singles matches with the confrontation of the following pairs: SEA Games 31 men's singles champion Nguyen Duc Tuan of Hai Duong and tennis player Vu Manh Huy of T&T People's Police; Vietnam's No. 1 tennis player Nguyen Anh Tu of Hanoi and Ta Hong Khanh of T&T People's Police; Doan Ba Tuan Anh of Hai Duong and Do Tuan Kiet of Hanoi; Le Dinh Duc and Dinh Anh Hoang, both of T&T People's Police.

The women's singles event is a confrontation between the following players: defending champion Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh of Ho Chi Minh City and Nguyen Hanh Ngan of Hanoi; Lam Thu Cuc of the Army and Nguyen Thi Nga of Hanoi; Mai Hoang My Trang of Ho Chi Minh City and Vu Hoai Thanh of the Army; Nguyen Bach Thanh Thu and Nguyen Le Bao Tran, both of Ho Chi Minh City.

The matches were exciting and dramatic. The best players in the country gave the audience and fans many great plays.

As a result, tennis player Nguyen Duc Tuan of Hai Duong easily defeated his opponent Vu Manh Huy of T&T People's Police with a score of 4-0 to win a ticket to the semi-finals to meet tennis player Dinh Anh Hoang of T&T People's Police. Tennis player Doan Ba Tuan Anh of Hai Duong also convincingly defeated his opponent Do Tuan Kiet of Hanoi 4-0 to win a ticket to the semi-finals to meet Vietnam's number 1 tennis player Nguyen Anh Tu.

The National Table Tennis Tournament for the Sful 2024 Early Fire Warning System Cup took place at the Hai Duong Provincial Sports Gymnasium from December 2-8. The tournament was organized by the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation in coordination with the Hai Duong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The tournament brought together 40 of the best Vietnamese players to compete in two categories: men's and women's singles.

At this tournament in 2023, Vietnam's No. 1 tennis player Nguyen Anh Tu won the gold medal in the men's singles event; tennis player Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh of Ho Chi Minh City won the gold medal in the women's singles event.
