1,086 elderly people in Cam Giang are granted free health insurance cards.

The People's Committee of Cam Giang district (Hai Duong) has decided to support an additional 30% of the health insurance card purchase price for 1,086 people from 70 to under 77 years old in the district.

Cam Giang District People's Committee has decided to support an additional 30% of the health insurance card purchase price for people from 70 to under 77 years old.

It is expected that 1,086 people aged 70 to under 77 in the district will be supported 100% (province 70%, district 30%) of the cost of purchasing health insurance cards. The support period is from June to December 31, 2024 with a budget of over 316 million VND. Luong Dien commune has the largest number of supported people (119 people).

Supporting health insurance premiums creates conditions for health care for the elderly, contributing to increasing the rate of people participating in health insurance and ensuring social security in the area.

Cam Giang district currently has 3,642 elderly people from 65 to under 77 years old participating in health insurance.

Along with Cam Giang district, currently, in the province, there are 4 localities implementing the policy of supporting an additional 30% of the remaining health insurance premium for the elderly from 70 to under 77 years old, namely Tu Ky, Kim Thanh, Binh Giang and Kinh Mon town.
