Faced with impersonation and fraud in motor vehicle inspection, the Vietnam Register recommends that units and vehicle owners raise vigilance and promote vehicle inspection work.
The leader of the Vietnam Register said that there are currently some acts of impersonation and fraud in motor vehicle inspection activities.
Specifically, the authorities received information from people and inspection units about many phone calls (from phone numbers such as: 098236xxx, 0916712xxx, 0911312xxx, 0916600xxx...) claiming to be from the Vietnam Road Administration, the Vietnam Register to invite and request with content such as: "Request units to buy a set of books on managing inspection units" or "Request people and businesses to change inspection stamps according to the provisions of the new Circular or request to install an application (App) with the logo of the Vietnam Register..."
Through this, the Vietnam Register affirms that there is no request for people, businesses and units to buy books or change inspection stamps as reported. All the subjects calling with the above content are impersonators and scammers.
Therefore, the Vietnam Register recommends that inspection units raise their vigilance and disseminate information to their employees and vehicle owners coming for vehicle inspection.
In addition, the Vietnam Register also recommends that people and businesses be vigilant against people calling impersonating the department to avoid being taken advantage of and scammed.
