According to the land use planning map in the draft planning dossier of Hai Duong province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Hai Duong will build a bridge over Kinh Thay river connecting Kinh Mon town with Chi Linh city.
According to the plan, the bridge is called Van 1 bridge, built about 500m from Van ferry (Quang Thanh commune), on the new route connecting from provincial road 389B (through Quang Thanh commune, Kinh Mon) with national highway 37 (through Dong Lac ward, Chi Linh city).
This new route passes through Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant, connecting Quang Trung and Thang Long industrial clusters according to the planning of Quang Thanh and Thang Long communes (Kinh Mon).
This is one of the key projects to complete the regional traffic system connecting Kinh Mon town with Chi Linh city, implementing the Resolution of the 17th Hai Duong Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
