On the morning of August 14, Le Loi commune, Chi Linh city (Hai Duong) organized the National Day for National Security Protection. This is one of 12 commune-level units selected as the province's model for organizing this activity.
Responding to the National Day for National Security Protection, Le Loi commune promoted activities to disseminate laws, prevent crimes and fires. The commune organized cleaning of village roads and alleys; mobilized people to respond to the plan to issue ID cards to people under 14 years old; organized cultural and sports exchanges; provided free health check-ups and consultations for people. The commune Women's Union established a model to help members expand production models, start businesses, etc.
Implementing the movement of the whole people to protect national security, since the beginning of the year, the officials and units of Le Loi commune have directly disseminated 35 sessions to 5,000 people about the methods and tricks of various types of criminals; distributed 2,800 handbooks on recognizing and preventing crimes, 3,000 documents on fire prevention, traffic safety, and prevention of fraud in cyberspace.
The commune police coordinated to mobilize people to hand over 5 homemade guns; reformed and educated 7 cases, and sent 3 drug addicts to compulsory drug rehabilitation. The commune also built 2 new models of self-management, prevention and protection of security and order, namely "Le Loi Security Zalo" and "Security Light".
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded a certificate of merit to Le Loi commune. The Director of the Provincial Police Department awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the movement of the whole people to protect national security in the locality.
