Hai Duong promotes regional connectivity
In recent times, the imprint of regional connectivity in Hai Duong has become increasingly clear, demonstrating the province’s strong development aspirations. New projects are being implemented, increasingly connecting development spaces within the province and Hai Duong with other localities.

According to the General Statistics Office at the press conference announcing the results of the province's socio-economic targets in 2024, Hai Duong's economic growth ranked 6th in the country and 3rd in the Red River Delta.

According to the Hai Duong Provincial Statistics Office, the province's economic growth in the first 9 months of 2024 is estimated at 9.31%, ranking 11th in the country and fourth in the Red River Delta (after Hai Phong City and Ha Nam and Nam Dinh provinces).

Speaking at the fourth meeting of the Red River Delta Coordination Council on the morning of August 17, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that rapid, comprehensive and sustainable socio-economic development of the Red River Delta is a very important political task, with many difficulties, challenges, expectations and responsibilities.

Approving the Red River Delta planning, organized into two sub-regions north and south of the Red River
On May 4, 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 368/QD-TTg approving the Red River Delta planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050. The planning organizes the region's socio-economic activities into two sub-regions: north and south of the Red River.
