On social networks, many editors shared their farewell moments.
Editor Dan Le, who has hosted VTC's Good Evening news for many years, says goodbye to colleagues and audiences.
"We have told millions of stories - big storms, floods, lives that need a voice, but this time, we are telling our own story when the channel stops broadcasting. VTC staff cannot help but feel disappointed but very proud of what we have done. Instead of clinging on, we choose to smile. Thank you VTC for bringing a complete journey. Change is not the end but the reason for a new chapter to be written", Dan Le shared.
Commentator Quang Huy said: "In recent days, colleagues and audiences have talked a lot about VTC. Personally, as someone who has entered his 20th year of working at the station, I can confirm that the house on Lac Trung Street is a place where people are rarely carefree and kind to each other. Here, there is almost no gap between superiors and subordinates."
On his personal page, MC Nguyen Khang, who used to host VTC's Sao Online program, expressed his emotion and regret when the station stopped producing and broadcasting.
"Luckily, Khang met many lovely brothers and sisters when he first went to the North to host the program. Closing a journey is not necessarily the end, it will open a new journey. I hope you all always have good health, confidence and strength to continue writing a new journey on the path you are choosing," Nguyen Khang shared.
The suspension of broadcasting by VTC Digital Television Station is to implement Resolution 18 of the Politburo and Plan 141 of the Government on streamlining and streamlining the organizational apparatus.
VTC’s cessation of broadcasting is not only an event that marks a major change in the Vietnamese television industry, but also a memorable moment for many generations of television workers who have been attached to the station. Although it has come to an end, VTC’s contributions to Vietnamese television and the beautiful memories of MCs and editors are an indispensable part of the development history of the country’s media industry.
