Guinea-Bissau President visits the Institute of Food Crops and Food Plants in Hai Duong

On September 6, President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embaló and his delegation visited the Institute of Food Crops and Food Plants under the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) in Lien Hong commune (Hai Duong city, Hai Duong province).

Seng Cu rice grown organically is suitable for Hai Duong

Through two crops, the Institute of Food Crops and Food Plants (Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences) initially evaluated Seng Cu rice grown organically as suitable for the soil in some places in Hai Duong.
Advanced farming techniques help 415 sticky rice yield 7-10 quintals/ha higher than traditional farming.

Thanks to the application of advanced farming techniques, glutinous rice variety 415 gives a higher yield of 7-10 quintals/ha compared to traditional farming.
