Go to Hai Duong city to "destroy" the food street

On this April 30 - May 1 holiday, Hai Duong residents have a new space to experience entertainment and enjoyment, which is Tue Tinh culinary street (Hai Duong city). From the time there was information about the formation of this culinary street to the time the "product" was launched was quite a short period of time.

In early February this year, the People's Committee of Hai Duong City proposed a pilot project of Tue Tinh culinary street with the Provincial People's Committee to support the walking street and Bach Dang night market; at the same time, create a culinary cultural space for the city, especially promoting and consuming Hai Duong's products and specialties.

Tue Tinh Street (extended) is one of the most vibrant new streets in Hai Duong City in recent years. Here, there are many restaurants, cafes, beauty care services, entertainment areas... that attract many customers. After the walking street and Bach Dang night market, Tue Tinh Street is one of the few streets that "live" at night in Hai Duong City. These are plus points to form a street that promises to bring both economic values ​​and be a cultural and entertainment highlight of Hai Duong.

Walking around the food street on the first night of the event, I and many other people were quite excited by the image of two "trains" which were stalls serving food and drinks. This image reminded me of a walking street in Korea with stalls shaped like cars. Although the design is not as eye-catching as in other countries, it is a neat and lively image, easily attracting the eyes of young people. Although not yet filled, the stalls here are loved and experienced by many people.

Another impressive thing is that the cafes and restaurants on this street have seized the opportunity quite well with new decorations, preparing space to welcome guests and these shops are very crowded.

Lion and dragon dance performances, music lovers' spots, fireworks displays... really stirred up the locals and visitors, making an impression right on the first night.

However, my friends and I all shared the same feeling that the image of Tue Tinh food street is no different from a second walking street or night market. It is a food street but the culinary impression is not really outstanding. Before going to the food street, my friends and I planned to "eat up" the whole street because we thought that this place is similar to the food streets in Hai Phong, Saigon, Hanoi, there will be many delicious dishes from different regions to enjoy. However, on the first night, the street was still lacking most of the Hai Duong specialties, regional specialties or even very few new shops next to the ones that have existed on this street before. Many "carts" selling food and drinks were not eye-catching and even somewhat old...

To have a walking street, Bach Dang night market and now the first culinary street of Hai Duong is a great effort of the city. After 1 year of operation, the walking street, Bach Dang night market has been enthusiastically welcomed by the people and still maintains its attraction to this day. We have promoted to our friends that we should come to Hai Duong city on Friday night to enjoy all kinds of delicious dishes in the culinary street and have fun in the walking street on Saturday and Sunday.

I hope that Tue Tinh food street will be completed soon and the wishes of city residents like me will soon come true so that I can confidently promote and invite friends to experience it.
