The Hanoi Opera House was originally called the City Theater (Théatre municipal). The French started construction of this project in 1901 and completed it in 1911 on Paul Bert Street. It was modeled after the Garnier Opéra in Paris but on a smaller scale and with materials suitable for local climate conditions. Today, the Hanoi Opera House is located at 1 Trang Tien Street, Trang Tien Ward, Hoan Kiem District.

The construction of the flagpole began in 1805 under the Nguyen Dynasty and took 7 years to complete. During the resistance war against France and the US, the Hanoi Flagpole was used as an observation post for the inner and outer city areas. When the August Revolution succeeded, on October 10, 1954, at exactly 3:00 p.m., the National Anthem echoed amid cheers and the image of the flag fluttering on the Hanoi Flagpole, marking a very meaningful turning point, Hanoi was cleared of enemies, joyfully welcoming the victorious children returning to liberate the capital. The Hanoi Flagpole is currently located at 28A Dien Bien Phu, Dien Bien Ward, Ba Dinh District.

The Huc Bridge was started by Nguyen Van Sieu in 1865 under the Tu Duc Dynasty. It was intended to connect this side of Hoan Kiem Lake with the other side of Ngoc Son Temple. The meaning of "The Huc" translates to "Condensing the halo" or "the place where the sunlight remains." The Huc Bridge is located in the historical relic area of ​​Ngoc Son Temple, Hang Trong Street, Hoan Kiem District.

Hang Dau Water Tower is also known as Dai Dau or Hang Dau Booth. In 1894, Hang Dau Water Tower was built with stone from the scrap of Hanoi Citadel. The tower looks like a three-story fortress, a round cylinder with a diameter of 19 m, a height of 25 m, a conical corrugated iron roof, and small windows like loopholes around it. The tower was built to distribute water from here straight into the citadel, where the French colonial army was stationed, and to distribute water to other neighborhoods. This water tower has been abandoned since 1954 and is now a tourist attraction for tourists when they come to Hanoi. The water tower is located at the intersection of Hang Dau, Hang Than, Quan Thanh, Phan Dinh Phung, Hang Cot, and Hang Giay streets.
