Proudly admiring the 4 sacred milestones spanning 3 regions of the Fatherland

The North Pole (Lung Cu, Dong Van, Ha Giang)

The most accurate northernmost point in Lung Cu, Dong Van, Ha Giang is located at milestone 428, about 4km from the famous Lung Cu flagpole. This is the location identified as the northernmost point of the country, also known by the locals as “Seo Lung Cape”, or “Northernmost Cape”. The milestone is located on a small piece of land jutting out towards the poetic Nho Que River with a beautiful view of the majestic mountains.

The Westernmost (A Pa Chai, Muong Nhe, Dien Bien)

The westernmost point is considered the most difficult to conquer among the four points. Marking the westernmost point of the Fatherland is a border marker of three countries with three sides inscribed with the names of Vietnam - Laos - China, each side has the national emblem and the name of the country.

To reach the westernmost point, visitors must go through a journey of complex terrain, from off-road driving to mountain climbing, through forests... When completing the above distance, the destination will bring absolute satisfaction to those who touch the sacred milestone.

Easternmost point on the mainland (Mui Doi, Khanh Hoa)

The most eastern coordinate on the mainland is Mui Doi. Coming to the easternmost point is the journey to welcome the first sunrise of the country. Although not as arduous as conquering the westernmost point, the road to touching the Mui Doi milestone is not simple.

Visitors must go through a journey of walking on mountainous terrain, sand dunes under the Central coastal sun. After a long, sweaty journey, the beautiful seascape at Mui Doi opening before their eyes will be the reward to make up for everything.

Southernmost Point (Ca Mau Cape, Ca Mau)

As the southernmost point of the country, the southernmost point is located in Dat Mui commune, more than 100km from the center of Ca Mau city. Although remote, Ca Mau Cape is the point with the easiest distance with a straight asphalt road to Nam Can town and a canoe to cross the waves to set foot on Dat Mui.

Here, visitors will check-in with National GPS coordinate marker 0001 (kilometer 0) - the point marking the southernmost territory on the mainland of the Fatherland.
