Reporting at the monitoring session, the leader of Luong The Vinh High School said that the rate of students passing the university and college entrance exams of the school has been increasing continuously. In the 2020-2021 school year, the rate of students passing the university and college entrance exams was only 41%, by the 2021-2022 school year it reached 45%, and in 2022-2023 it increased to 51%. The school has begun to have students winning prizes in the excellent student competitions at all levels.

Regarding the rate of students studying vocational training after graduating from high school, while in 2020-2021 this rate was only 15%, by the 2022-2023 school year it will reach 35%. This increase is ahead of schedule compared to the province's general target according to the Project on human resource development to meet production and business requirements, contributing to building Hai Duong into a modern industrial province by 2030 (by 2025, 30 to 35% of high school graduates will continue to study at vocational training institutions at intermediate and college levels).

To achieve this result, the school has focused on education, improving the quality of learning for weak students, nurturing excellent students and having key quality classes. The school promotes career guidance in many forms, closely coordinating with universities, colleges and vocational schools to provide effective career guidance based on students' abilities and strengths.

Concluding the monitoring session, the leader of the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Committee requested Luong The Vinh High School to continue to pay attention to and improve the quality of education, review facilities, resolve the situation of classes exceeding the prescribed number of students and strictly manage students.

The delegation will continue to monitor a number of schools in the province.
