University of Technology opens 4 new majors and training programs in 2025

On January 16, the University of Technology (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) announced information on regular university enrollment in 2025.

Accordingly, the school plans to enroll 4,120 students in 2025 using the same methods as in 2024, including admission based on high school graduation exam results; based on international certificates such as SAT, A-Level, ACT; considering competency assessment test scores organized by Hanoi National University; direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Hanoi National University.

The school opens four new majors and training programs, including data science (Data Science and Engineering program), electronic and telecommunications engineering technology oriented towards microchip design, materials technology (Materials and Microelectronics Technology program) and biotechnology (Biological Engineering Technology program).

In addition to the four traditional combinations of A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), B00 (math, chemistry, biology), the school also considers two more combinations with computer science subjects: math, English, computer science and math, physics, computer science.

Expected targets for each training sector:

In 2024, the admission score to the University of Technology based on high school graduation exam scores ranges from 22.5 to 27.8 points.

Of which, information technology has the highest benchmark score with 27.8 points, followed by computer science (27.58 points), artificial intelligence (27.12 points). Agricultural technology has the lowest benchmark score with 22.5 points.

Tuition fees for 2024 are around 32 - 40 million VND.
