Earlier, a South Korean military source announced that on the morning of July 22, North Korea launched many cruise missiles towards the Yellow Sea.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said South Korean and US intelligence agencies were analyzing the launches, which took place around 4 a.m. local time, to learn more about the type of missile fired and other details.
The launch came three days after North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles into the East Sea.
