Losing to Korean opponent Kor Kang Wanjin in the semi-finals, martial artist Tran Ho Duy officially won the bronze medal in the men's individual Taekwondo event.
The men's individual Taekwondo event was a knockout event. In the morning competition on September 24, after scoring 7,590 points, defeating Chan Chung Yin (Hong Kong, 7,650 points) to advance to the round of 16, Tran Ho Duy continued to score 7,490 points, defeating his opponent from Saudi Arabia, Moghis Wahid Khalil I (7,230 points) to win a ticket to the semi-finals.
