Hai Duong City People's Committee has invested over 11.8 billion VND to install 379 more exercise machines in public areas in 19 communes and wards.
The types of machines installed in this phase have diverse functions, suitable for all ages, and can train major muscle groups such as: legs, arms, back, abdomen, shoulders, etc. Installation time is in 2024 and 2025, funded from the city budget.
The communes and wards that have not yet installed sports equipment this time are: Ngoc Chau, Nguyen Trai, Nhi Chau, Pham Ngu Lao, Tan Hung and Lien Hong.
This is an activity to celebrate the 220th anniversary of the founding of Thanh Dong (1804-2024) and the 70th anniversary of the city's liberation (October 30, 1954-October 30, 2024).
The city currently has more than 1,000 pieces of exercise and sports equipment in all communes and wards.
