The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ supercar lost 6 billion VND in value after only 4 years of use, even though the owner spent more than 1 billion VND upgrading many items for the car.

The Lamborghini Aventador supercar line, despite its after-tax price of over 40 billion VND, is chosen by many Vietnamese tycoons thanks to its aggressive design and impressive performance. To date, over 20 units have arrived in our country through private importers and official distributors.

Recently, a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ appeared on the used car market with a price that surprised many people. According to VietNamNet's research, the car is a 2019 model, arrived at Da Nang port in November 2020 and has traveled more than 13,000 km. Currently, the price offered by the seller is 17 billion VND.

At the time of purchase, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ had a rolling price of about 1 million USD, equivalent to 23 billion VND because the car enjoyed preferential tax policies when carrying a diplomatic license plate. Thus, after 4 years of rolling, the car owner lost about 7 billion VND - including the upgrade package worth more than 1 billion VND on the car.

Originally, the car's exterior was painted bright yellow Giallo Evros, completely different from the other 4 cars in Vietnam. The first owner of the car upgraded the car with a Novitec package, which costs about 830 million VND in the European market. It is estimated that the owner had to spend nearly 1 billion VND to complete this package.

After 4 years of driving, the car is still quite new due to little use. In addition to the carbon fiber items that have been modified on the exterior, the car still retains the original multi-spoke rims measuring 20 inches in the front and 21 inches in the rear, painted in matte Titanium. Hidden inside are gray brake calipers.

In addition, the owner also upgraded the original stainless steel exhaust pipe to a more heat-resistant exhaust pipe made from BRE (Brooke Race Exhaust) brand. This item alone costs up to 200 million VND.

The car's interior has no changes or signs of "aging", from the high-quality leather sports seats with Alcantara material, to some carbon fiber cladding positions such as the center console, door panels,... This Aventador SVJ uses the main black tone in the cabin, accented with white borders and stitching.

The “heart” of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, producing a maximum capacity of 761 horsepower and a maximum torque of 770 Nm. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a 7-speed ISR automatic transmission. Thanks to that, this supercar can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 350 km/h.

With a price of 17 billion, Vietnamese tycoons can choose to buy some "unboxed" supercars with white license plates instead of choosing supercars with diplomatic license plates, such as the McLaren Artura (starting price 14.7 billion VND) or McLaren GT (starting price 16 billion VND).

However, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is a limited production supercar of 900 units worldwide and the value of its naturally aspirated V12 engine is different from McLaren's twin-turbo V8 engine.
