On the morning of July 21, Dak Lak Provincial Police successfully arrested three suspects who were hiding in Cu Kuin District, including: Y Khing Lieng (born in 1992, residing in Hoa Son Commune, Krong Bong District), Nay Duong (born in 1968, residing in Ea KLok Hamlet, Cu Pong Commune, Krong Buk District) and Y Hoal Eban (born in 1970, residing in Map Hamlet, Ea Pok Town, Cu M'gar District).
Previously, on July 15, the police force arrested three wanted suspects in Ea Le commune, Ea Sup district, including: Y Ju Nie (born in 1968, residing in Kang hamlet, Ea Knuec commune, Krong Pac district), Nay Yen (born in 1970, residing in Ea Klok hamlet, Cu Pong commune, Krong Buk district) and Nay Tam (born in 1974, residing in Adrong Diet hamlet, Cu Pong commune, Krong Buk district).
All 6 subjects above are related to the attack on the headquarters of the People's Committees of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, Cu Kuin district on June 11, 2023, which killed 9 people and injured 2 others; they were specially wanted by the Investigation Security Agency, Dak Lak Provincial Police for the crime of "Terrorism against the people's government" as prescribed in Article 113 of the Penal Code.
Regarding the incident, in the early morning of June 11, a group of subjects attacked the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu commune and Ea Ktur commune (including the working area of the commune police) in Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province. The Ministry of Public Security assessed that this was a terrorist attack against the people's government with particularly serious consequences. The subjects' actions were very barbaric and inhumane, demonstrating their determination to carry out the crime to the end.
