Receiving applications for exemption from trade defense applications

The Trade Remedies Authority requests that enterprises that meet the conditions for exemption submit exemption application dossiers, including documents specified in Article 14 and Appendix 03 of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT.

The Trade Defense Department receives applications for exemption from trade defense measures in September 2023.

The Department of Trade Remedies (Ministry of Industry and Trade) has just announced receiving applications for exemption from trade defense measures in September 2023.

Specifically, pursuant to Point c Clause 1 Article 16 Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT dated November 29, 2019 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade detailing a number of contents on trade defense measures, the Department of Trade Defense announces the receipt of exemption requests from enterprises that meet the conditions for exemption from applying trade defense measures in specific cases stated in the appendix attached to the notice.

The Trade Defense Department requests that enterprises that meet the conditions for exemption submit applications for exemption from trade defense measures, including documents specified in Article 14 and Appendix 03 of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT.

The Trade Defense Department notes that in case an enterprise that has been granted an exemption for 2023 is about to use up the granted exemption volume, the enterprise can submit an additional exemption application according to the provisions of Clause 4, Article 16 of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT at any time in 2023.

Pursuant to Article 15 and Clause 3, Article 16 of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT, enterprises are requested to submit exemption request dossiers to the Online Public Service Portal at: https://dichvucong.moit.gov.vn or send directly to the Department of Trade Remedies before 5:00 p.m. on October 30, 2023.
