State budget revenue increased by 16.1% in 11 months

According to the Ministry of Finance, in the first 11 months of 2024, the state budget revenue is estimated at 1,808.5 trillion VND, equal to 106.3% of the estimate, up 16.1% over the same period in 2023.

Regarding state budget expenditures for the first 11 months, it is estimated to reach 73.6% of the estimate, up 4.7% over the same period in 2023. The Ministry of Finance said that the central budget has spent 24.7 trillion VND from the 2024 reserve to supplement funds for implementing national defense and security tasks and support localities in carrying out a number of important, sudden, and urgent tasks; funds for disease prevention and control and production recovery after natural disasters and epidemics.

In addition, implementing the Prime Minister's Decision, the Ministry of Finance has issued nearly 16,780 tons of national reserve rice to support localities in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms and floods, and providing relief and hunger relief for the people.

There is not much time left in 2024, Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang requested agencies and units in the industry to focus on emulation, drastically implement solutions, and be determined to collect the highest level of revenue, meeting the expectations of Party and State leaders.

Regarding the budget balance, Minister Nguyen Van Thang said that the implementation results were relatively good, the balance of the central and local budgets was ensured. Regarding the issuance of government bonds, within the assigned functions and tasks, the competent agencies of the Ministry of Finance need to pay attention to proactively implementing measures to successfully complete the set plan.
