As a manufacturing and trading enterprise in the field of agricultural product import and export, Fusan Organic Agriculture Joint Stock Company (under Kim Chinh Group Joint Stock Company in Nam Sach District, Hai Duong) realized that the demand for dried fruits in European and Asian countries is quite high. In early 2023, the company decided to invest in this market.
How to create quality products that are favored by consumers is something that businesses are always interested in and seek to do. Ms. Tran Thi Thao, a sales staff of the company, said: "The company's first shipment was exported in July 2023 to the European market. Since then, the output has always been maintained at 20-40 tons/month, depending on the time. In 2024, we plan to double the output to meet customer demand."
The company is using 5 types of fruit including papaya, pineapple, mango, passion fruit and jackfruit for drying. The product is packaged in 50g/bag or 1kg/bag depending on customer requirements, selling price 15,000 VND/50g bag.
To affirm the quality in the market, the company focuses on the processing stages, the input materials must meet the requirements. The company sends people to the raw material areas certified by VietGAP, GlobalGAP, OCOP nationwide to develop the cultivation, harvesting and preliminary processing process. Although the company has been granted a certificate of safe production area, it still takes pilot fruit samples and sends them to specialized agencies to check the parameters. If the indexes are within the allowable threshold, ensuring quality, then it can be harvested.
Right at the raw material area, the fruit will be soaked in salt water, impurities removed, then peeled and frozen. When the quantity is sufficient, it will be brought to the factory in Dong Nai province for processing. "Here, the fruit is used with the latest technology to produce the product. Next, the fruit is checked one more time to remove any unqualified dried pieces. Then it is packaged according to regulations," said Ms. Thao.
Currently, the dried fruit products of Fusan Organic Agriculture Joint Stock Company are mainly exported to European and Asian countries, not yet sold in the domestic market. During the drying process, the fruit is left natural, without adding any additives or flavorings. A delicious piece of fruit is one that retains its original color and flavor, is not too dry or too wet, is chewy and has a sweet and refreshing taste. Fruit packages with a variety of colors and flavors bring new feelings to the enjoyer.

Dried fruit has many advantages, such as being easy to transport, convenient without losing its flavor. In addition, dried fruit is also considered to reduce the burden on the stomach, increase blood circulation. For children, this is an easy-to-use and attractive snack.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung, in Doan Thuong commune (Gia Loc) said: "I have enjoyed dried fruit and found it quite delicious, still retaining the same flavor as fresh fruit. My children really like this product. For adults, it can be drunk with green tea for a lighter taste."
In the coming time, to expand the consumption market, Fusan Organic Agriculture Joint Stock Company will bring products to the domestic store and supermarket system.
