Leaders of Phu Tho town offer incense to pay tribute to the Hung Kings

Attending the incense offering ceremony were comrade Nguyen Minh Xuyen - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Town Party Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the district; leaders of specialized departments and offices; communes and wards in the area.

With a sincere heart of gratitude and respect for the ancestors, the leaders of Phu Tho town offered incense, flowers, and gifts to commemorate the Hung Kings; at the same time, respectfully reported to the spirits of the Hung Kings about the achievements in the field of socio-economic development that the town has achieved in 2022 and the first months of 2023.

Thanks to efforts and overcoming difficulties, in 2022, 9/9 socio-economic development targets of the town were achieved and exceeded the set plan. The economy grew well, the economic structure shifted in a positive direction; infrastructure continued to receive investment attention. Total social investment capital reached over 3,700 billion VND, an increase of 49.8% compared to 2021; total state budget revenue reached nearly 1,400 billion VND, an increase of 167.7% compared to the estimate.

The cultural and social fields have made much progress; social security has been ensured; the poverty rate has decreased to 1.2%; the quality of teaching and learning has always been among the top in the province; political security has been stable, and social order and safety have been ensured. Party building and government consolidation have been strengthened; the activities of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations have continued to be renewed, creating trust and excitement in the entire Party Committee of the town.

Delegates offer incense and flowers at Hung King Mausoleum

Before the heroic spirits of the Hung Kings and the saints worshiped by their ancestors, the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Tho town vow to continue to do a good job of preserving and maintaining the cultural heritage values ​​in the locality, contributing to the preservation, protection and promotion of the value of the Hung King worship belief in Phu Tho to spread and develop more and more; unite as one, successfully implementing the socio-economic development goals set forth in the Resolution of the 23rd Town Party Congress.

Immediately after the incense offering ceremony at Thuong Temple, delegates offered incense and flowers at Hung King Mausoleum; offered flowers at the relief of Uncle Ho talking to the Vanguard Army Corps and offered incense at the Temple of National Ancestor Lac Long Quan.
