The Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Information and Communications agreed with the proposal to swap working days so that workers can have 5 consecutive days off during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
On April 8, the Ministry of Transport sent a dispatch to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs agreeing with the draft dispatch reporting to the Prime Minister on the proposal to swap working days on the occasion of the April 30 Victory Day and May 1 International Labor Day holidays so that workers can have 5 consecutive days off.
On the same day, the Ministry of Information and Communications also agreed with the proposal of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Previously, on April 5, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued an official dispatch agreeing with the proposal to swap working days so that the holiday lasts 5 days.
Previously, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs sent an official dispatch to relevant agencies to seek opinions on swapping working days on the occasion of the April 30 Victory Day and May 1 International Labor Day holidays so that workers can have 5 consecutive days off.
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that April 30 falls on Tuesday, and May 1 falls on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Monday (April 29) falls between the April 30 - May 1 holiday and a weekly day off.
Therefore, this agency proposed to swap the normal working day (April 29) and make up for it with another day so that cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers can have 5 consecutive days off.
This helps stimulate tourism and social consumption, promoting economic growth. At the same time, this swap does not change the working time fund of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
Therefore, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs proposes that the Prime Minister consider and decide on the above-mentioned work time exchange.
