All 11 Hai Duong fencers won medals at the National Youth Fencing Championship.

Coach Tran Thi Len said that the Hai Duong fencing team competing in the 8th National Youth Fencing Championship in 2024 has 11 fencers, born between 2005 and 2010, along with 2 coaches. The team participated in 14 events, won 1 gold medal, 3 silver medals and 4 bronze medals; exceeding the assigned medal target.

The only gold medal went to fencers Pham Thi Mai Huong, Nguyen Linh Chi, Vu Thi Ngoc Huyen and Trinh Cam Tu in the U20 foil team event. Three silver medals, including two individual silver medals by Pham Thi Mai Huong, U20 foil; Vu Thi Ngoc Huyen, U17 foil and a silver medal in the U20 foil team. Four bronze medals were won in the individual foil, individual foil, mixed foil and mixed foil events.

The 8th National Youth Fencing Championship 2024 will be held in Bac Ninh province from April 8-16. The tournament will have the participation of 148 fencers from 8 provinces, cities and sectors: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Duong, People's Public Security and host Bac Ninh.
