On March 17, the prestigious Time magazine announced a list of the 50 best destinations in the world in 2023 based on nominations from the magazine's international network of reporters and collaborators.

Notable on the list is Dominica, known as the "nature island of the Caribbean." The small island nation has always prioritized sustainable tourism and aims to become the world's first climate-resilient nation by 2030.
Coming here, in addition to beautiful beaches, visitors also have the opportunity to explore rainforests, visit majestic waterfalls, experience hot springs and admire large volcanoes.

In an interview with CNN, veteran Time editor Emma Barker Bonomo said the list reflects major current travel trends, which focus on sustainability and uniqueness.
Many of the destinations on this list cater to travelers looking for immersive local experiences through locally guided tours or carefully selected homestay stays.
Brisbane city in Queensland state of Australia is also honored to be named in this voting list.
Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner stressed that Time magazine is a prestigious global publication with 20 million readers worldwide. He therefore expressed his belief that Brisbane’s inclusion in the list of the world’s most attractive destinations will boost the city’s tourism industry, open up more opportunities and create more jobs for local residents and small businesses.
Mayor Schrinner said the city's motivations for making the Time magazine list include the 2032 Olympics and Paralympics; this year's Women's World Cup; and the city's continued growth with investments in infrastructure such as the Queen's Wharf resort, which is under construction.
There are also other factors such as direct flights, or attractive locations such as James St and Fortitude Valley.
