On September 6, 3 working groups of the Hai Duong Department of Transport inspected storm prevention work No. 3 in localities.

The Department of Transport requests that from 12 noon on September 6, all construction items on ongoing traffic projects on roads and inland waterways managed by the department be temporarily suspended. Review and reinforce structures at risk of being affected by the storm; focus on ensuring traffic before, during and after the storm makes landfall.

The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has also organized 3 teams to coordinate in inspecting safety assurance at construction sites. Requesting reinforcement and bracing of sheds, camps, workers' housing... to ensure safety. For the floating systems serving the bridge construction (Bac Hung Hai, Phi Xa, Cay bridges), the anchoring of vehicles must be completed securely and permanently outside the waterway corridor before 3:00 p.m. on September 6. The Department also announced the temporary suspension of driver testing on September 7 and 8; and requires transport service units to adjust or change schedules and itineraries accordingly to ensure absolute safety for the unit's transport operations.
