Immediately after being advertised widely on social networks, these car models received the attention of many consumers because of their low price and eye-catching designs.
Ms. Vu Thi Hong Hanh (Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi) said she was very interested in the above electric car product advertisements, however, when she went deeper to learn more about buying, she realized that it was very difficult to access product information as well as the seller.
"I spent time researching these car products but I don't have specific information, address or way to contact the seller," Ms. Hanh wondered.
To learn about these cheap car products, VTC News reporters contacted a phone number 0944***967 from a Tik Tok social network account that regularly posts advertisements and sells the above type of car.
The seller said that there are currently two types of Chinese electric cars with prices of 80 million VND for products with few features and glass doors that use a hand crank to open and 130 million VND for products with more features and glass doors that operate up and down electrically.

"If customers want to buy a car, they will have to deposit 15 million VND and wait 2 to 3 weeks for the car to arrive in Vietnam. Customers can only refer to and choose cars through photos and videos, we do not have a business address or display for sale," this person informed.
Notably, the seller said that this cheap Chinese electric car product is not allowed to circulate in Vietnam: "The car cannot be used on the national highway because it is against the law. We will provide a 1-year warranty for each car and will deliver it to the customer's home for free."
Many experts recommend that consumers need to be wary of cheap electric car models to avoid "losing money and getting sick".
Mr. Nguyen Hong Quan, an auto repair engineer in Nam Dinh, warned: "These cheap electric car models pose many dangers when they have not been assessed by the authorities in Vietnam to be qualified for operation or not. In addition, with low costs, the car is prone to fire and electrical short circuits during operation. Moreover, the car's warranty period is only one year, and users cannot use it widely. Consumers need to consider carefully before spending nearly a hundred million VND to buy it."
