Raheem Sterling is ready to join the Red Devils of Manchester, despite previously spending 7 years playing for rival Man City.

The 29-year-old England striker tried to leave Stamford Bridge this week, after being left out of Chelsea's plans by coach Enzo Maresca and not allowed to train with his teammates.

In the latest move, The Blues' leadership expressed their desire to exchange Sterling for Jadon Sancho, a winger who is also out of favor at Old Trafford.

A source close to Sterling confirmed that he is excited about the prospect of moving to Old Trafford, despite previously winning the Premier League four times with Man City.

However, there have been many negative signs about the player exchange deal between the two clubs. The problem lies in the high salary of 325,000 pounds/week that Sterling is receiving at Stamford Bridge.

Similarly, Sancho's £300,000-a-week salary is also not suitable for the new salary structure that the American owner has set up at Chelsea.

MU is currently actively arranging to send Sancho to Juventus on loan, with a buyout clause next summer worth 40 million pounds.

In Sterling's case, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have also expressed interest. However, no team has made a specific move due to concerns about salary.
