The goal-scoring machine named Mohamed Salah continued to shine and on the night of January 7, the Egyptian star contributed a goal in the draw with Wolves (2-2) in the FA Cup, thereby helping him surpass the legendary Sir Kenny Dalglish in the list of greatest goalscorers in the history of the Anfield team.

Salah's 173rd goal for Liverpool came against Wolves in the FA Cup, taking him past Dalglish to seventh in the Anfield club's all-time leading goalscorers list. The Egyptian is 10 goals behind sixth-placed Robbie Fowler and 14 goals behind fifth-placed Steven Gerrard.
What's more, Salah's 173rd goal for Liverpool came in just 235 games and is a far cry from Dalglish, who scored 172 goals in 515 appearances for the Red Devils.
"A fantastic achievement for Mo Salah and it was great to be in the stands to see the goal scored… It was great to pass on my milestone and I hope it brings more success! You'll never walk alone," Dalglish shared on his personal page.
In the FA Cup third round match last night, although Salah shined to score, Liverpool was still held to a 2-2 draw by Wolves and had to play a rematch with this team.
