According to information from the People's Committee of Ha Lam Ward, Ha Long City (Quang Ninh), in the early morning of June 27, two people died in the area, suspected to be struck by lightning.
Specifically, at around 3:15 a.m. on June 27, at the house of Ms. Vu Duy Ph. (born in 1987, residing in group 4, zone 2, Ha Lam ward, Ha Long city), two bodies were found burned to death on the first floor, suspected to have been struck by lightning.
The victims were Ms. Vu Duy Ph. and her boyfriend Mr. Duong Van D. (born in 1975, residing in Thuong village, Dong Rui commune, Tien Yen district, Quang Ninh province).
On the second floor at that time, there were three children, including Tran Vu Hai D. (born in 2010), Tran Quynh Nh. (born in 2018), the children of Ms. Vu Duy Ph., and Duong Van Tr. (born in 2016), the son of Mr. Duong Van D.
After receiving information from the people, Ha Long city authorities were present at the scene, investigating the cause, calculating the damage and supporting the families with funeral arrangements for the two victims.
