Focus on motivating the team of reporters and editors

On the afternoon of January 25 (the 4th day of Tet), National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue visited and wished a happy new year to cadres, reporters, editors, and employees of the People's Representative Newspaper and Vietnam National Assembly Television.

Also attending were leaders of the National Assembly Office, the Committee on Culture and Education, departments and units of the National Assembly Office.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his joy at visiting the leaders, reporters, editors and workers of the People's Representative Newspaper and Vietnam National Assembly Television, and felt the joyful, exciting and spirited atmosphere of the two press agencies of the National Assembly.

The National Assembly Chairman stated that 2022 has ended with many successes. The country's overall achievements include the National Assembly's contributions with important and comprehensive results in all areas of activity, from legislation, supreme supervision, deciding on important issues of the country, regular sessions, extraordinary sessions, people's petition work to parliamentary diplomacy activities.

Party and State leaders, revolutionary veterans, voters and people all highly appreciated the efforts, research, innovation, and results of the National Assembly's activities, as well as the spirit of solidarity, unanimity, and promotion of the 76-year tradition of the Vietnamese National Assembly.

Praising the achievements of the People's Representative Newspaper and Vietnam National Assembly Television in 2022, the National Assembly Chairman requested the Party Committee and leaders of the two agencies to continue to pay attention to motivating cadres, reporters, editors and workers by creating a healthy working environment, ensuring regimes and policies, building office culture...

On this occasion, the National Assembly Chairman recalled the honor of the People's Representative Newspaper when General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong - then Chairman of the National Assembly - signed Resolution No. 816 to upgrade and rename the newspaper, change the newspaper's seal; Vietnam National Assembly Television when Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Sinh Hung pressed the button to officially broadcast on January 6, 2015, on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue acknowledged that the two press agencies have made many innovations, improving the quality and content of news articles as well as the organization and personnel; renewing the identity and broadcasting channels; actively exploiting digital platforms...

In 2023, the National Assembly Chairman proposed that the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee, and the National Assembly's press agencies compete and continue to innovate. Emphasizing that this is a path of fast and sustainable development, the National Assembly Chairman said that the development of the two agencies contributes to the success of the National Assembly and the success of the National Assembly will contribute to the overall development of the country.

On behalf of the leaders, staff, reporters, editors and employees of the two agencies, Editor-in-Chief of the People's Representative Newspaper Pham Thi Thanh Huyen respectfully accepts the instructions of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

The Editor-in-Chief of the People's Representative Newspaper affirmed that he will make every effort to realize the vision and expectations of the National Assembly Chairman for the two units; considering this a great source of motivation and strong encouragement for the People's Representative Newspaper and Vietnam National Assembly Television to continue to rise and successfully complete their tasks.
