Editors are considered for promotion to the professional title of Grade I when they have held the professional title of Grade II editor (or equivalent) for at least 6 years.

Circular 12/2024/TT-BTTTT clearly stipulates the standards and conditions for promotion to the professional titles of reporter and editor grade I and II. The Circular takes effect from November 7, 2024.
