From the money from selling scrap from the "Green House" models of women in Binh Giang district, the association's facilities have given 340 gifts to women and children in especially difficult circumstances.
After more than 1 year of implementation, from February 2023 to April 2024, all 16 women's union bases in Binh Giang district have built 81 "Green House" models, attracting a large number of members, women, and people to participate. This is one of the typical localities in the province in implementing the "Green House" model.
With the motto "Small work, big impact", through collecting scrap, the model has contributed to environmental protection, increasing funding for the activities of the women's association. As of April 19, the total amount of money collected from selling scrap of the "Green House" models in Binh Giang district was more than 124 million VND.
From the above fund, the association's branches have allocated nearly 76 million VND to buy 340 gifts for women members in especially difficult circumstances, orphans, and poor children who are striving to improve their lives.
