Chi Linh women plant nearly 2,400 trees and flowers in response to "Tree Planting Festival"

By February 20, the Women's Union at all levels of Chi Linh City had planted nearly 2,400 trees and flowers. Of these, there were more than 800 Bauhinia trees, 400 apricot trees, 60 yellow trumpet trees, more than 1,000 shade trees, and fruit trees. The trees and flowers were planted along central roads, public works such as commune and ward People's Committee headquarters, village cultural houses, residential areas, and historical sites in the area. The total cost of buying seedlings was more than 112 million VND, with the union at all levels deducting a part of the operating fund and mobilizing social resources. On this occasion, the Women's Union of 15 wards and communes built 15 more flower beds and flower roads managed by women.

From now until March 8, the Women's Union of Chi Linh City continues to propagate and mobilize cadres and members to plant at least 1 tree, flower, ornamental plant at home; mobilize each commune and ward to have at least "One green project" such as flower road, green road...
