On weekend mornings, hundreds of locals and tourists flocked to take photos on Phan Dinh Phung Street (Quan Thanh Ward, Ba Dinh, Hanoi), known as "the most beautiful autumn street in Hanoi".

On a weekend morning (August 26), Pham Hai Yen (in pink dress) and her best friend traveled 30km from Hung Yen to Phan Dinh Phung Street (Hanoi) to take photos. "Recently, everyone has been sharing photos of autumn in Hanoi, especially on this street, so I eagerly went there. I didn't expect the street to be so crowded. Every corner was full of people waiting," Yen shared.

Ms. Hang (63 years old), a resident living near Phan Dinh Phung Street, often pushes her grandchild here to enjoy the cool breeze at 8-9am. "In the past 10 days, especially on weekends, the street has been too crowded with locals and tourists. It is also inconvenient to move right on the sidewalk because of the bustling motorbikes, flower cars, food trucks... so I don't take my grandchild there anymore. I also go to the market earlier to avoid crowded hours," Ms. Hang said.

Since mid-August, when Hanoi enters autumn and the weather is somewhat less hot, Phan Dinh Phung Street (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi) is always crowded with people and tourists coming to take photos, check-in or drink coffee, have breakfast. Many people have to wait for their turn to stand at the desired angle to take photos.

This is known as the most shady and romantic street in the city center.

On weekends, from 7am, this street is crowded with tourists. By around 10am, hundreds of people gather here, especially in the area of Phan Dinh Phung High School gate, Cua Bac Church, and the North Gate (Bac Mon) of Hanoi. Many people move across the street between the two locations, causing traffic congestion.

Shops in the neighborhood were also packed with customers. Shop owners had to constantly arrange tables and chairs on the sidewalk. Authorities kept reminding people to ensure traffic safety.

On the sidewalks, there are also many flower stalls, street vendors selling fresh crocodiles, sticky rice, drinks... along with spontaneous services such as parking, renting bicycles for taking photos...

"On a weekend like this, I can sell hundreds of bouquets of flowers, small and easy to hold, priced from 70,000-120,000 VND/bouquet. Like this morning, at around 10am, I had to call to have more flowers delivered," said a vendor.

Popular flowers are white lotus, daisies, baby flowers, sunflowers...

Previously, a representative of the People's Committee of Quan Thanh Ward affirmed that the ward does not prohibit people from taking photos in public places. However, the ward sent forces to inspect and be on duty in this neighborhood to ensure security, order and safety for people, and to avoid theft and traffic insecurity.

The number of people coming here is so large that it is not easy for tourists to get a good angle to take pictures.

Not far away, at the intersection of Thanh Nien and Thuy Khue streets, many locals and tourists also gathered to check-in with the colorful flower cars.
