Comrade Bui Van Thang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development was appointed as Director of the Department.

In the second phase of the rescue flight, defendant Tran Tung, former Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Thai Nguyen province, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for accepting bribes and abusing his position and power while performing official duties.
