At 8:00 p.m. on April 17, the art performance program with the theme "Convergence of the Country" officially took place at the Southern stage - Van Lang Park and Van Lang Park Pedestrian Bridge, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province. The highlight of the art program is the high-altitude fireworks display as part of the key activities of the Hung Temple Festival, Culture - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land 2024.
According to VTC News reporters, from 6 p.m., the streets around Van Lang Park Lake were packed with people. Tens of thousands of people arrived early to choose a good spot to watch the fireworks.
However, close to the show's time, a heavy downpour with thunder and lightning forced many people to stretch tarps and climb into the flower garden to wait to watch the fireworks.
It seems that the heavy rain did not reduce the excitement and anticipation of the people.

An Khanh (in Cam Khe district, Phu Tho) shared: "The annual art program at Van Lang park always attracts great attention from locals as well as tourists from all over. Therefore, I took the opportunity to come here from 5pm to choose the best position to watch the spectacular fireworks display."
At exactly 9:30 p.m., at the pedestrian bridge of Van Lang Park Lake, colorful fireworks lit up the sky.
In 15 minutes, a total of 800 high-altitude fireworks and 180 low-altitude fireworks with pyrotechnics were launched into the sky.
